How to Test the Tread Depth On Your Tires

Underinflated and poorly maintained tires are dangerous!! Every year 11,000 auto accidents occur due to tire failure, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Association. In fact, as much as 25% of the cars driving on the road have some sort of tire issue.

Taking care of your tires can not only ensure your safety, it can help maintain the overall mechanical integrity and resale value of your vehicle. Tires are not to be taken lightly, especially in Arizona, where the heat from the sun that shines on the pavement all day causes road temperatures that easily burn skin! Imagine, if the pavement is hot enough to burn your hand, what is it doing to your tires??

We recommend you check your tires at least once a month. The following infographic shows how to test and maintain your tires.
